Beautiful Shasta is a petite mama at just 35 lbs, and she’s raising 7 gorgeous puppies who will be ready for adoption in about 6 weeks. Their dad is a Great Pyrenees, so these little ones are expected to grow into medium to large dogs—a wonderful blend of Shasta’s sweet size and the Pyrenees’ gentle, loyal nature.
The puppies are currently being lovingly fostered with Shasta in the Del Mar area of San Diego, CA. As they grow, they’ll receive age-appropriate vaccines, be microchipped, and will be spayed/neutered through the rescue before adoption.

About 2 Years Old • Male • Dog Friendly • Gentle & Loving Soul
Benny is basically a living teddy bear—sweet, soft, and made to be loved. He was rescued from the shelter with help from a foster sponsor and our rescue, A Dog Named Black Jack, after landing on the euthanasia list just for having the sniffles and not eating. Truth is, he was probably just heartbroken. Once he got into his foster home, he started eating, cuddling, and slowly came back to life.

Qiqi
Qiqi is looking for a home where he will get lots of walks, good food, and lots of love. He is getting along with his foster brother and sisters, but he was introduced slowly. At about 2 years old and 85lbs, he looks forward to a home that can give him attention and exercise. Like all German Shepherd dogs, he prefers to be with his owner all the time and if he is left alone for a short while, he will be super excited to see you again. Qiqi knows a couple commands such as sit, paw, and lay and looks forward to his chicken treats that he loves. Playing ball with Qiqi is still a work in progress, because he goes after the ball without a problem. He loves playing in his kiddie pool when it is shower time and enjoys playing with the water. He was left at a shelter by his family and rescued by us. He has begun to trust humans again and is such a loving companion!
Mimi-Roo
Mimi-Roo is a gentle soul who thrives with a confident handler. She is very smart and in tune with her surroundings. She is a medium size & medium energy dog, just as happy to hang out with you as she is to go explore on walks. She has a beautiful reddish brown coat and the unique Rhodesian look. She loves the outdoors and a great car traveler. She is good with other dogs when introduced properly and seems to not react to cats. Independent, majestic, and with a serious demeanor as the breed is known for, she is really special!

My name is Benito, but my foster Mom calls me Benny. I’m reddish blonde, brown eyed with a very athletic build. I’m about 50lbs of pure energy & joy. I love long walks in the woods, playing catch and romantic nights snuggling on the couch watching movies with my person. My foster mom says that I’m a perfect roommate. I never tear anything up or make a mess when left in the house alone. I love when my person is home, but I’m also quite content with my own company while you are away. I’ve enjoyed my time on a rural property with my foster Mom, but due to my high prey drive, I’m tempted by cats, rabbits, squirrels and especially chickens. And sorry, small children make me nervous. I really don’t need a large yard & can easily live in an apartment as long as we get to go on daily walks.
My go bag is packed with all my stuffies, balls, and a fancy halter. I have my own bed, but love to curl up next to my person when allowed. Lastly, my foster mom says I’m a perfect gentleman already. I sit, wait, heal, shake and come, but if you live near Seattle, my personal trainer has offered a training package to my new Mom or Dad so that we all start out on the right “paw”. Kimbo is a one year old mixed breed who was rescued from the euthanasia list at a high-kill shelter. He tends to prefer female humans, but is also tolerant around males. Ginny was just a puppy herself when we saved her from a high-kill shelter. After being adopted by our rescue, she’s been through so much—from being bullied in boarding facilities to an unplanned pregnancy when she wasn’t spayed as promised. Despite all this, she’s remained gentle and loving.
She gave birth to five healthy puppies and is now safe in a foster home with her five puppies and brought back into our rescue just weeks ago. Ginny is a sweet, resilient mama who deserves a forever home where she’ll finally know real love and security.
