Adoptable Dogs

Barley

Barley is a very special boy looking for his special forever. This handsome Akita/Dutchie mix is about 4 years old, 60 lbs, neutered and UTD on vaccines. This poor soul has been on the euth list twice, but will no longer have to worry about that fate again.

Barley has a hilarious personality. He is 100% Akita mentally and seeks to protect his home. He LOVES being outside and playing with toys (which he will only take out one at a time) and can be stubborn when it is time for him to come back inside. Barley MUST have a secure yard, as he is an escape opportunist who turns into Forest Gump once he finds a week point. This boy loves to run.

Barley is unpredictable with strangers and will need training or crating when someone comes over to the house. On walks, he should be kept tight-leashed to avoid any temptations. He does well with submissive female dogs, but NO cats or small creatures for this guy. He also should not go to a home with small children. Barley is deeply soulful and like to connect with one person, and that person is his focus. He loves being with his person, but does ok when crated.

Barley is fostered in Sacramento, transport up and down I-5 can be arranged! Apply today!

Adopt

Benito

Neutered Male Shina mix.

Are you searching for your furry soulmate? I think I might be your guy.

My name is Benito, but my foster Mom calls me Benny. I’m reddish blonde, brown eyed with a very athletic build. I’m about 50lbs of pure energy & joy. I love long walks in the woods, playing catch and romantic nights snuggling on the couch watching movies with my person. My foster mom says that I’m a perfect roommate. I never tear anything up or make a mess when left in the house alone. I love when my person is home, but I’m also quite content with my own company while you are away. I’ve enjoyed my time on a rural property with my foster Mom, but due to my high prey drive, I’m tempted by cats, rabbits, squirrels and especially chickens. And sorry, small children make me nervous. I really don’t need a large yard & can easily live in an apartment as long as we get to go on daily walks.

My go bag is packed with all my stuffies, balls, and a fancy halter. I have my own bed, but love to curl up next to my person when allowed. Lastly, my foster mom says I’m a perfect gentleman already. I sit, wait, heal, shake and come, but if you live near Seattle, my personal trainer has offered a training package to my new Mom or Dad so that we all start out on the right “paw”. Let’s schedule a meet and greet soon! Currently in Seattle Washington

Adopt

Blackjack

Blacky was kennelled at San Bernardino with Sky and ran out of time due to length of stay! We pulled him just in time. Even though his family abandoned him, we did not and we are so glad. He is a love bug and wants affection and love. He is kid friendly and cat friendly too! He’s sweet, he wants attention and love!

Around 2 years old. Vaccinated microchipped and neutered.

Adopt

Claire

Claire is a sweetheart with a heart of gold! This poor girl was stuck in the shelter THREE TIMES before we saved her off the euthanasia list. We have no idea how such a loving, funny, young pup could not be claimed by her former adopters, but we are more than happy to give her her second chance at a loving and comfortable life.

Claire has energy for days! She outplays all of the other dogs at her foster's house and only needs a little bit of down time before she is ready to play chase and wrestle again. Once she's gotten her zoomies out, this girl has shown that she is very eager to learn, mastering "sit" and "kennel" in one afternoon. Claire's ideal home will have a playful canine buddy for her to run around with. She loves meeting new people, but needs gentle reminders that not everyone wants a Claire hug the second she sees them. With some training and time to adapt to life in a house, this girl will be the ultimate family dog - ready for adventures, happy to play, and also ready to cuddle whenever needed.

Claire is 10 months old, is spayed, and is UTD on vaccines. She is currently underweight, but will likely be about 65 lbs with a proper diet. She has not been tested with cats, but she did accidentally pick up the resident tortoise because she was unsure of what to do. She easily redirected and put him down gently.

ADOPT

Dolly

Meet Dolly, a brave and beautiful girl with a heart as big as her smile! Dolly was rescued just in time, and she's ready to leave her past behind and find her forever family. She's a curious and friendly soul who loves exploring and being outdoors. Dolly is always up for an adventure and is happy to take on the world with her new family by her side. She's affectionate and loves to be around people, offering a wagging tail and a warm heart to everyone she meets.

Dolly is also a funny and independent girl who will keep you on your toes with her playful spirit. She's a true survivor and a real catch for any family looking for a loyal and loving companion. Dolly would do well in a home that can provide her with walks and outdoor exploration, as she decompresses from shelter life and discovers the joys of being a beloved pet. Could you be the one to show Dolly the love and care she deserves?

Adopt

Ellias

Meet Puppy Ellias! He is around 6 months old and a lab/malinois mix. Full of energy and will make a great dog to a confident handler. Transport anywhere in southern CA.

Adopt

Elliot

8 month old pit bull mix rescued on his euthanasia day at Apple Valley Shelter. He's doing very well in foster care. Has a ton of energy and would do great in a home as a single pet or with another pet that has playful energy as well. He's great around children and loves to cuddle. He also loves toys especially shoes! LOL

Adopt

Hunter

Meet Hunter, an 8–12 month old German Shepherd mix with a sweet, loyal personality and a big heart. He’s a happy, affectionate boy who loves human connection and quickly bonds once he feels comfortable. Hunter enjoys pets, rubs, and staying close to his people, and he has a gentle, observant nature for such a young dog.  Hunter is smart, eager to please, and responds well to positive reinforcement. He’s been doing great with basic training and short leash walks, especially once he’s warmed up and feeling confident. With a little patience and consistency, he continues to show how quickly he learns and how much potential he has.  With love, structure, and companionship, Hunter will grow into a devoted, loyal lifelong companion and an incredible addition to the right home.

Adopt

Kimbo

Kimbo is a one year old mixed breed who was rescued from the euthanasia list at a high-kill shelter. He tends to prefer female humans, but is also tolerant around males. He is also great with other dogs, preferably his size or smaller! No cats or kids at this time. Kimbo would love a forever home soon and is currently located in Los Angeles, CA.

ADOPT

Max

Meet Max, a gentle mixed-breed boy with a sweet, sensitive soul. Max is shy and timid at first, but once he feels safe, his quiet, loving personality begins to shine. He has a calm presence and a kind heart, and he truly appreciates patience and gentle encouragement.  Max does wonderfully with other dogs and gains confidence from their companionship. He loves playing, rolling around in the grass, and relaxing alongside his canine friends. Other dogs help bring out his playful, happy side and make him feel more at ease.  Max would thrive in a calm, loving home with a patient adopter and would do especially well with a friendly dog companion. With time, consistency, and kindness, Max will blossom into a loyal and deeply rewarding companion.

Adopt

Molly

If you love herding dogs and are looking for a velcro dog, Molly is your girl! This sweetheart is absolutely dedicated to her human. Molly will attempt to hug you every second of every minute she is with you. Trying to pick something up off the floor? Nope, you're getting smothered in kisses. Want to go to the bathroom by yourself? Uh un, no you may not shut that door without this sleek little shadow zipping in faster than lightning.

Molly was brought to the shelter as a stray, and her coat and behaviors show she was out on a grand adventure for a bit. Now that she is clean and groomed, this black beauty is a cuddle bug who easily redirects from inspecting the trash. Molly needs slow introductions to other dogs and does well with submissive dogs. She does very well with redirection and distraction when she starts to get antsy around other dogs. Really, these behaviors are insecurity of her environment, but she has learned to adapt to pack life quite easily. Her herding instincts are very strong and she loves to play with the herding ball and direct the other dogs in games of chase. Molly has not been tested with cats, but she would likely chase them. She is a little nervous when loose in the car, but rides very well in her kennel. She likes to bark at grey trucks in particular.

Molly is approximately 2 years old, is spayed, and is UTD on her vaccinations. She will need an active family who can give her the exercise and mental stimulation this girl needs to thrive!

Adopt

Nebbie

Nebbie is looking for a forever couch to call her own! This toasted potato enjoys spending time with her person. She is affectionate, loyal, and incredibly smart. She was scared up from being bitten by another dog when we saved her from San Bernardino high kill shelter. She needed medical attention for her wounds and ear infections. She is doing well now and lives with another dog at her foster moms.

Adopt

Qiqi

Qiqi is looking for a home where he will get lots of walks, good food, and lots of love. He is getting along with his foster brother and sisters, but he was introduced slowly.  At about 3 years old and 85lbs, he looks forward to a home that can give him attention and exercise. Like all German Shepherd dogs, he prefers to be with his owner all the time and if he is left alone for a short while, he will be super excited to see you again. Qiqi knows a couple commands such as sit, paw, and lay and looks forward to his chicken treats that he loves. Playing ball with Qiqi is still a work in progress, because he goes after the ball without a problem. He loves playing in his kiddie pool when it is shower time and enjoys playing with the water.  He was left at a shelter by his family and rescued by us. He has begun to trust humans again and is such a loving companion!

Adopt

Raul

 Mama Ginny's pup.

Raul is the last of his litter to go, but is just as desirable as the rest of them are! He is fun loving and is thriving in his foster home. Approx 4 months old. Currently in Sacramento CA

Adopt

Sapphire

Very shy at first but warms up! Beautiful Shepherd Mix. She's learning to trust. Doing well in foster care. Located in Los Angeles.

Adopt

Stitch

Meet Stitch — Your Next Adventure Buddy!

Stitch is a silly, energetic, and incredibly loving dog who’s ready for his forever home. He thrives with human connection — cuddles, attention, affection, he loves it all. Whether you’re going on a walk, hitting a hiking trail, or relaxing with some meditation and country music, Stitch is happy just being by your side.

Stitch is crate trained, leash trained, and potty trained, and he’s already learned several commands including “sit,” “give space,” “leave it,” and “stay.” He truly wants to learn and loves working with his people.

He’s doing well with the dogs in his foster home and can coexist with other dogs, but he would thrive as the only dog in the household. He is not good with cats and will do best in a home without them. He’s also doing great with children!

Stitch enjoys adventures, water play, and all things outdoors — but he’s just as happy curling up for cuddles at the end of the day. He’s the perfect mix of fun, affection, and goofiness.

If you’re looking for a loyal, trainable, and joyful companion, Stitch is your guy.
